In December 2023, I attended a pivotal first meeting at Kielder Observatory with physicists, astrophysicists, and mathematicians to discuss my forthcoming interdisciplinary art and science project. This gathering provided an opportunity to explore potential collaborations and exchange ideas on the intersection of astrophysics, microscopy, and artistic interpretation.

As part of the visit, I also attended the late-night programme, ‘The Dark Cosmos,’ which deepened my appreciation for their experimental and collaborative approach to research. Their work inspires new ways of connecting scientific discovery with artistic expression, shaping the direction of this evolving project.
